Echo Go Away is the new full-length album from Los Angeles based multi-instrumentalist Eli Goss. Created as a reflection of disillusionment with the world, and coming to terms with that, Echo Go Away was brought to life after a shift in writing process occurred when Goss was living in New York.

Echo Go Away is Eli Goss of The Breathing Effect and is a compelling deviation into the mind of a young visionary, pulling from the ethos of his band work, his absorption into the LA beat scene and the deep impressions of his upbringing. Echo Go Away will be released on Alpha Pup Records March 17, 2017 and will be available across all formats worldwide. From Eli Goss:

"I was playing my mom's old acoustic guitar a lot when I moved back home. I put it in random tunings and found my way around, discovering new patterns and sounds. My entire idea of songwriting had been turned upside down by a friend I had worked closely with in New York. He shared ideas with me that greatly inspired my writing and ultimately the whole album. In a way the album is an ode to him. I found myself recording the songs immediately after writing them, on the ground of my old bedroom with an old mixer and an SM-58. A lot of meticulous post production went into this album. Almost too much... This work was very personal. I felt like I was on a mission to make my first "real" solo album.

With the Breathing Effect, we're discovering a sound for ourselves, and we try to make that sound as collaborative as possible. With this, it was just pure personal reflection. Like going in front of a mirror and making as many of the strangest faces you can possibly make as close up to the glass as you can get. And staring into your own eyes. You learn a lot that way. It can freak you out, but also make you feel more connected to your sense of self. Reminds you that everything you think and see and want and love is existing inside you're own head."
